My self employed journey started when I quit my job at Amazon from being a PA (Process Assistant) in 2017. After leaving the 9 to 5 world, I picked up a variety of side hustles including driving for Uber, Uber Eats, freelancing as a video editor, being a you tuber, author and short term rental operator.
Throughout all of these undertakings, I saw that there are not enough resources for those that want to become self employed. That’s what motivated me to start the Self Made Business Academy.
Ever since 2020, I have been helping people make the transition from employee to freelancer, business owner or into the world of self employment. Until now, this has been done on a 1 on 1 basis via consultations. The SMBA (Self Made Business Academy) was started to do this on a much bigger scale so that more people can start living life on their financial terms
